American Medical Association:
Stomps Tobacco.
Larger and more comprehensive than any other health care association,
the American Medical Association (AMA) initiated a smoking cessation campaign,
the SmokeLess States National Tobacco Policy Initiative. With
support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, SmokeLess States
provided information and news concerning key tobacco policy issues.
To help achieve this goal, the American Medical Association hired
Warren McKenna Design Group to provide website design and technical integration.
The W/M Design Group team provided navigational
and strategic design recommendations as well as technical website
development for SmokeLess States. The result is a more intuitive, functional site flow,
and a more efficient layout. Technical components were developed to allow for
dynamic content management, generating significant time and
cost savings for the AMA. W/M Design Group also added value by enabling multiple paths to create conversations and 2-way dialog. Today, over 10 years
of success are chronicled on the SmokeLess
States’ website.
